most beautiful cycle route for me ever

waking to my alarm at the hotel ritter in tuttlingen I went down for breakfast, retrieved the auld dear from the hotels garage  (it was a normal garage like what i have at the side of the house), then it was an easy cycle down to the wooden roofed bridge that`s popular in these parts, I set off on the cycle path in glorious sunshine for the next section the Danube is a small river at this section with dry patches but other parts swelled out and teaming with fish,
on the outskirts of town there was an Aldi i stopped for water and snacks, I keep buying the bubbly water by mistake and told an old couple who chatted to me while the man complained that since his wife got an electric bike he can no longer keep up and is glad her bike stops assisting her at 20 kmph, they were also confused on why i keep making the mistake of sparkling water which is very popular and said it should just say mineral! mine did? they then said its the colour of the lid i should go for red not blue lol i just drink it anyway
the cycle path meanders through forest and farmland before going into a nature reserve here, there was even areas where the beavers had made lots of little dams, making the water almost stagnant at this time of year but it expanded the river into lots of green tree and shrub surround, being a tree lover i wondered why they wanted to reintroduce this tree chopping animal in Scotland? but i could now see how the dams/lodges made for lush slow water wet green areas with huge benefits to biodiversity, there was so many different kinds of birds fish butterfly's even fungi around this area that i could easily now see the benefits along with wetlands helping to stop the spread of forest fires
just like the Rhine there was the cycle path there was the railway the road and there was the river roughly following the same route, until the Danube started making a gorge area then I was on a stunningly beautiful cycle route in parts tarmac at others just gravel wandering in and out over the river under railway bridges up through forests I stopped far too often to take photos but it was beautiful this would be a wonderful section to camp along
there was hilltop castles churches and monuments i stopped early afternoon at an archery and kayak place and thought i would have a radler and a rest, but when i went up to the service area they said i should take a seat its table service only i couldn't be arsed waiting so cycled on

I eventually cycled into the picturesque town of sigmaringen, this town has a huge palace which was the palatial home of the kings and queens of nearly all Europe at one time probably including our own Hanoverian's it was now five PM!  i cycled through town and i think i seen a black squirell i quickly took a photo but it was running away, this was nowhere near my objective for the days cycling, I was aiming for the city of Ulm in the morning a big task as it was over 100 miles from my start point and i wasn't to know how much it wandered around up and down while i stopped to take photos or follow signs navigate, in short i was nowhere near my objective and had to now make a plan of the best way forward? this seemed like a lovely place it would be great to stay here that night? if i cycled on the next reasonable sized town was 18 mile away and much smaller than this town, I cycled to the train station which had a nice bar I ordered a beer and tried to speak with the staff and bar-fly's about my dilemma
